Kuppelklang
Chorkonzerte in der Ehemaligen Synagoge St. Pölten
Jewish composers wrote sacred and secular music for choirs and vocal ensembles. Since the Romantic period, four-part chants for (male) choirs have also been heard in synagogues.
The Kuppelklang series spans a wide range of sounds and is performed by ensembles as diverse as the Synagogenchor Zürich, the Company of Music vocal ensemble, the Wiener Motettenchor and the Wiener Arbeiter-Sängerbund (Vienna Workers' Choir). The latter presents Jewish workers' songs.
